  Wishing to find out about my fathers time in Italy he was with RASC from 1940-1948.His name was Charlie Corden I believe he was sometimes called Chuck.Thank you.

  You need to get a copy of his Service Record. This will tell which unit he served with and when. That will allow you to plot his locations whilst in Italy.
  
  Go to http://www.gov.uk and in the Search box, type in ‘How do I obtain a Service Record?’
