Hi I am looking for any info on the where about of my dad and his regiment during their time in Italy.
He was captured about the 24 Feb 1944 in the Central Mediterranean Theatre and ended up as a POW in Stalag Sagen 8C VIIIC until they where liberated.
The odd things about his service records are, He joined the Warwick Regiment is then recorded as being in The Queens Regiment and was discharged in The Royal Engineers. Very strange.???
Any info most welcome, and some of the info I just gave you might help some one else.
