      I know its a long shot but I am looking for any information on Lieut Stanislaw Jasienski who was part of Brig. Lathburys 1st Para Bde. and was involved in the Battle of Primosole Bridge.  Many Thanks.

      Hello Phil – I’m also looking for information on Lt Jasienski. His name crops up in Operation SIMCOL in October 1943 as part of Lt E A “Jim” James’ team dropped behind the lines near Ancarano to recover escaped allied prisoners of war. I’m doing some research on that. Same name also in Pegasus Archives re military awards at Arnhem. Didn’t know he was at Primosole Bridge.

      Just spotted this: https://www.dawsonsauctions.co.uk/auction/lot/348-an-interesting-collection-of-wwii-items/?lot=55843&sd=1. This would rule out an Arnhem connection I think.
