      Hi

Thank you in advance. I have my fathers medals from WW2 (including N Africa Star/Italy Star)..sadly he is passed away now.. but he spoke very sparingly of his time in uniform. I have his Service No 2020264 Sapper Peter Stuart and his Army record show him to have been in 222nd Field Company…then 502 Field Company then 558 Field Company…but how do I find his route through Italy…I thought that he told me once that he was part of the Eighth Army. Apologies that my knowledge even with his Service Record is poor…the copies are hard to read (cant complain about someones handwriting!) and very poor photocopies.

      Any information hugely appreciated.

      Thank you

Your best bet is to go to ww2talk.com and scroll down to service records and post there.
I was in your boat about 2 years ago and the members there helped me out.

      Regards

      Scott
