Hi Guys my name is Carl.
My aunty gave me a set of medals after her husband passed away she said the medals were his mums brothers. I would like to know more info about this gentleman his name is Edward Todd first name can’t confirm he served in the Royal army ordnance corps his Service No. is 10660260. His medals are 1939-45 star, Africa star with 8th army clasp, Italy Star, Defence Medal and War medal. My family is from Sri Lanka then Ceylon. Mr Todd was born in Ceylon so there is a small possibility that his service number started with CEY/. If anyone has relatives that served in the Royal Army Ordnance corps during world war II and has the same medal set can you please ask them if they new a Ceylonese Soldier that had the last name Todd and possibly had the first Name Edward.
