      I would like to find out some information about where my father, Norman Hancox, was in Italy during the war. He fought with the 281st HAA from December 1943 to April 1944. Prior to this my father was with 291st and 214th battalions. I also know that he was in Rome in September 1944. There doesn’t seem to be any information about the 55th battalion in any books I’ve read though I believe they fought around Foggia and the heel of Italy. Any information at all would be gratefully appreciated.
