Hi,
My Dad is 100 this year and I am trying o pieced together from his accounts, his movements during WW2. I have tracked his training in England, his early movements and transfer to the middle east but after he came down with illness I have lost his track. He next remembers being part of the 18th Beach Block/Group and invading Italy at Salerno and then being part of the D Day invasion via Gold Beach but he needs some detail to prompt his memory.
I have put together a more detailed word document with regiments, times and places if you could help.
