      Hello all,

I have found my fathers army service record from 1940-46. He was craftsman John Williamson  R.E.M.E. and was in N. Africa and Italy. I need some help deciphering with the units he was attached to and where , as I seem to be going in circles with it ! Can anyone recommend the best way to go about this and how to get copies of the war diaries etc….

      Best regards

      Brendan

      Brendan.

Get hold of me through the enquiries button on my website at http://www.cassinobattlefields.co.uk and I will happily help.  Alternatively, go to http://www.ww2talk.com and post a new thread with a copy of the Service Record.  An expert will be along very shortly.

      Regards

      Frank
