I think that I have fallen across one of Bills friends purely by accident when looking up Gazetted records of the M.C.
Bertram Webster 227 Anti Tank was awarded an MC on 21.12.44 in Italy.
Cant find any citations for MC’s or MM’s. What is the point of awarding a man such an honour without publishing why. Surely it is the deed that counts not the medal.
